Eating Disorders Treatment In Turkey

Eating disorders are likely to stem from various different reasons, one of which is the failure to eat healthy. Detrimental effects of eating disorder could lead to impaired eating patterns. Common causes include family pressure, genetic factors, social media, emotional traumas, low self-esteem and perfectionism. General symptoms of eating disorders include constipation, fatigue, excessive exercise, hair loss, refusal to eat, over-eating or vomiting after eating, stomach upset, and callus formation on the hands. Their mental and physical health could likely to take a downturn due to lack of adequate and balanced nutrition intake. Eating disorders are nrmaly observed in the form of anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, pica syndrome, binge eating and night eating, each of which essentially represent an individal trait of an eating disorder. These conditions could cause serious mental health disorder and can have fatal consequences, therefore prompt treatment should be started. The worldwide prevalence of eating disorders is 20%, and the mortality rate of eating disorders that are left untreated is 17% read more.
